My therapeutic approach is to tailor the service to the explicit, and implicit needs of the client, which are in continuous development. More often than not, this is conducted in an interactive, warm, conversational manner. Counselling and Psychotherapy are also sometimes referred to as “talking therapies”. In addition to dialogues and analysis, I can work in a more symbolic manner, and use a variety of techniques, which may include imagery, drawings, dreams, silences, relaxation and Gestalt.
One of my main priorities is to build a good therapeutic relationship and to make sure that my clients feel comfortable with the work.
Initial contact can be made either by email, telephone or text. I will then see you in person for our initial session. This is when we will be able to talk about your needs and how we will aim to address them. You will also receive my informal contract, which includes more details about the therapy process, as well as terms and conditions.
Although I receive a lot of referrals, you can make an appointment with me in all confidentiality without a GP or a consultant’s letter. I am able to see clients most days of the week in Fulham, Saturdays included, but also have availability at my clinic in Wimpole street in central London. I am recognised by most insurance companies, including Bupa and Aviva, among others.
My practice in Fulham is also easily accessible from Battersea, Chelsea, Clapham, Chiswick, Earls Court, Wandsworth, Hammersmith, Pimlico, Putney, Southfields, Kensington, and most of South West London.
